Interchanges & Frontage Roads โ€” Active discussions

Alameda St or Lindsey St โ€” One interchange, not both
OTA is deciding between Alameda and Lindsey as the north Norman interchange location. The decision affects which street's adjacent properties are in the acquisition zone. If you're on or near either road, your situation is live.
OTA map shows Spring 2034 ยท Decision pending
Tecumseh Rd โ€” Interchange under discussion
A Tecumseh Rd interchange is being actively discussed. No commitment from OTA yet but it's on the table. Properties at or near the SH-9 / Tecumseh corridor should watch this closely.
OTA map shows TBD ยท Active discussion
Etowah Rd & Maguire Rd โ€” Noble requesting both + frontage roads
The City of Noble has formally asked OTA to build interchanges at both Etowah and Maguire roads, with continuous frontage roads connecting them. If approved, this significantly expands the affected footprint in the Noble/south Norman area.
City of Noble request ยท OTA decision pending
E/W Connector โ€” Frontage roads from Penn to 48th Ave NE
The east-west connector segment includes frontage roads planned from Penn Ave to 48th Ave NE. Frontage road corridors affect far more properties than the main alignment alone โ€” properties along this entire stretch should get a current assessment.
Frontage road corridor ยท Wider impact zone
Data sources: OTA ACCESS Oklahoma official project map (June 2026) + local government discussions. Active design total: ~$424M across 4 Norman segments. Interchange locations, frontage road extents, and Noble requests are subject to OTA approval and may change.
